Rock wool strip

Professional matching new thermal insulation materials

The rockwool strips specially designed for exterior wall thermal insulation firebreaks are engineered and manufactured specifically to enhance the fire resistance of building exterior wall insulation systems. This product is used in conjunction with exterior wall insulation materials that do not meet Class A fire rating standards, serving as a firebreak to improve the overall fire resistance of building exteriors. It boasts high compressive and tensile strength, low water and moisture absorption, excellent dimensional stability, excellent aging resistance, and does not exhibit thermal expansion or contraction.

  1. Used in conjunction with non-A-grade fire-resistant insulation materials such as polystyrene boards and extruded polystyrene boards as a firebreak, thereby enhancing the fire resistance of exterior wall insulation systems.
  2. For thin-coat exterior wall insulation systems, the fiber orientation should be perpendicular to the surface of the base wall, thereby enhancing the system’s tensile and compressive strength.

Rock wool strips are packaged either on pallets with plastic film or in cardboard boxes, and can also be bundled for easy handling, transportation, and storage. The product should be stored indoors in a dry, well-ventilated area or covered with waterproof materials.
